Food safety, quality, traceability and responsible sourcing are important parts of supplying packaging to the food industry. Our standards and memberships provide procurement, technical and quality teams with reassurance that appropriate systems and controls are in place.

BRCGS Packaging Standard

CoCopac is certified to the BRCGS Packaging Materials standard. Our quality management system, product safety culture and production records support consistent standards and full traceability back to the source of the materials we use. A copy of our current BRCGS certificate can be made available to customers and supplier-approval teams.

FSC® Chain of Custody

Our FSC® certification supports the responsible sourcing and traceability of eligible paper-based materials. FSC® options are available across selected products, subject to the material, specification and certification scope required for the order.

Sedex Membership

CoCopac is a Sedex member, supporting transparency and responsible business practices within the supply chain. Sedex provides a recognised framework covering areas such as labour standards, health and safety, environmental practices and business ethics.

EUDR

For relevant paper-based materials, we work with our supply chain to support the traceability and due-diligence requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation. This is managed according to the material and batch concerned, with supporting information provided where applicable.
