Film
CoCopac supplies food-contact films for wrapping, interleaving, separating and presenting products across butcher, deli, dairy, meat and fish applications. Options include clear BOPP film, white pearlised film, micro-perforated film and coloured discs for burger separation.
Films can be converted into bespoke sheets and discs to suit the food product, pack and method of use. Our team can work from your dimensions, specification or an existing sample to help identify an appropriate format
Features
Different films perform different roles, from providing a clear wrapping layer to separating sliced or formed products. The correct option will depend on the food, required appearance, airflow, dimensions and handling process.
Clear and pearlised finishes
Clear BOPP film provides a simple, transparent option for wrapping and separating food products. White pearlised film is also available where a more visible interleave or presentation layer is preferred.
Bespoke sheets and discs
Film can be converted into dimensions and shapes suited to the product rather than being limited to standard formats. This includes coloured discs for separating burgers formed using manual presses.
Micro-perforated options
Micro-perforated film is available for selected interleaving applications, including sliced meats, ham and smoked salmon. The perforations provide a different handling and presentation option from a completely solid film.
Example Film Applications
The examples below illustrate common applications, although the final material, finish and dimensions should be selected around the individual product.
Deli and Cheese Wraps
Clear film sheets for wrapping and presenting artisan cheese, cold meats and other products sold or prepared at the point of sale.
Meat and Fish Interleaving
White pearlised or micro-perforated films for separating products such as sliced ham, cold cuts and smoked salmon.
Burger Separation Discs
Coloured film discs for separating burgers and patties, including products formed using manual butcher presses.
