Duplex
CoCopac supplies duplex wrapping paper for butchers, delis, farm shops, foodservice businesses and packaging distributors. Each sheet combines a paper layer with a thin food-contact film, providing a practical material for wrapping and presenting products at the point of sale.
Stock gingham designs are available in a choice of colours, while bespoke printed duplex can be produced for suitable order volumes. Sheets are commonly used for meat, cheese, deli foods and counter-service applications.
Features
Duplex combines the handling and presentation benefits of paper with the added barrier provided by a film layer. The appropriate size, design and print option can be selected around the food product and how it will be wrapped or served.
Two-layer construction
Duplex consists of a paper sheet lightly bonded to a thin HDPE film. The construction helps protect the paper from moisture and grease while remaining easy to handle during counter wrapping.
Designed for point-of-sale use
Sheets are suited to manual wrapping and food presentation in butchers, delis, farm shops and takeaway environments. They can be folded around the product or used as a liner within baskets and serving trays.
Stock and bespoke designs
Gingham check designs are available in blue, red, green, black and yellow. Bespoke printing can also be discussed for businesses and distributors requiring their own branding or design.

Duplex FAQs
Common questions about duplex wrapping paper, available designs and bespoke printing.
Why is it called duplex?
The name refers to the two materials used in its construction. The paper and film are lightly bonded together to create a single sheet that is practical to handle and wrap around food products.
Which stock colours are available?
Stock gingham check designs are available in blue, red, green, black and yellow. Availability should be confirmed when ordering, particularly where a specific colour and sheet size are required.
Can duplex be bespoke printed?
Yes. Bespoke printed duplex is available for suitable requirements. Call for more information about minimum order requirements and lead times.
How is duplex supplied?
Duplex is generally sold by weight. A typical five-kilogram pack contains approximately 1,000 sheets, although the exact number will vary according to the dimensions and construction.
Can the paper and film layers be separated?
The layers are lightly bonded and can be separated. Whether either material can be recycled in practice will depend on food contamination and the facilities available within the relevant local waste stream, so recyclability should not be presented as an unconditional claim.
